SMS Login validation - Activation and removal

Login validation via SMS is designed to enhance the security of your account whenever you log in. By enabling this feature you'll also be alerted through SMS anytime our security systems detect any potential irregularities.

It's only possible to register one mobile number to one account at a time, regardless of the license.

To enable login validation via SMS, you'll need to first register and validate your mobile number using our desktop software.

If you don't have a mobile number registered, follow the below instructions:

  1. Log into our desktop software.
  2. Click on Settings → Account Details → SMS Security Options.
  3. Select Enter mobile number....
  4. Choose the country of your mobile phone number, and type your phone number into the relevant box. Don't include any zeros at the beginning of the number.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Wait to receive the SMS Validation Code on your mobile phone and type it in the SMS Validation Code dialog box.
  7. Should you close the dialog box in error, you may return to it by clicking on the Settings → Account Details menu and then SMS Security Options.
  8. Click on Validate mobile number....

Once you've validated your mobile number, you'll need to enable the feature as follows:

  1. Log into our software.
  2. Click on Settings → Account Details → SMS Security Options.
  3. Check the Enable Login validation by SMS checkbox.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

You can disable the feature as follows:

  1. Log into our software.
  2. Click on Settings → Account Details → SMS Security Options.
  3. Uncheck the Enable Login validation by SMS checkbox.
